I was just thinking about some of the ridiculous and childless crap the news media spends their time on. We have all witnessed and experienced hours and hours of reporting on things like whether a singer should or should not take their music off of a certain media platform because someone else said something they hate. We are again on the doorstep of war in Europe and we are more concerned about whether Royal Family can get along with each other or not. Really??? We had to kick their royal asses to get away from them 350 years ago and now we are suppose to be concerned that they aren't getting along with each other?
It seems as though we have become more concerned about what people think or say than what they do. Social media is censoring some of their customers because they don't agree with their political stance. Some large companies are trying to limit those that they don't agree with from utilizing their services or products. Again, really??? When I went through school and college, it seemed to me that the business people were more concerned about getting all the customers they could, rather than if they agreed with me first. We are more concerned about the mascots of our high schools than the quality of the curricula that is being taught to our kids.
What I see in America is the ever growing division of the people of this Country that will either fix itself or destroy our way of life. Years ago, it was the Hatfields and McCoys. Now, it's the Conservatives and Liberals, the Constitutionalists and the Progressives, or the elitists and the working people. By any means, we are heading for a climax to this real-life soap-opera, and I don't think it is going to be a cliff-hanger. In the meantime, the World is either laughing at America, or trying to make the decision whether to attack us while we are fighting among ourselves. The bottomline is we need to replace our government representatives with some grown ups that will spend more time bringing America back together before we start speaking Russian or Chinese.
