I was just thinking about the school board recall election yesterday in the San Francisco Unified School District. The people, mostly liberal democrats in that region, recalled three of the school district board because of their desires to focus on social engineering over the education and safety of the students of their district. These three board members were more interested in changing names on schools from names like George Washington and Abraham Lincoln to more "recent and progressive" names of today, than getting kids educated.
Can we assume, when the parents in the bastion of liberalism are now challenging the wokeism of a school board for the education of their children, a flag has been raised in the battlefield of common sense versus socialist re-engineering? Are we seeing the reemergence of the American parent as a real viable and political block in the cesspool of politics? Are the liberals of America witnessing the awakening of a political giant more vicious than a mother bear and her cubs? The simple answer is oh yeah. Can this recent movement be contained to a few small areas of the Country and not affect the upcoming election cycle? Another simple answer is no. What can be done to stop these liberals from restructuring our public education systems in America?
Well now, I believe we have to look at history to predict the future. The pandemic has been a terrible imposition on the American freedoms from the beginning. However, it has opened the eyes of the majority of Americans to the ongoing social engineering of our society toward the Marxist doctrines. The Progressive Movement started almost 100 years ago in the Teddy Roosevelt administration and has grown from there. In education the real focus on social engineering started in the late 1950s and early 1960s and has grown to where it is today. It seems that the election in 2020 was thought to be an edict to take the open steps to socialism and the Marxist ideology. They believed it was time to take the big step from Constitutional freedoms to the principles of a one-party communist system. One of the biggest indicators to these liberals was the normal apathetic attitude toward government and elections of the population. People started resisting their principles and policies indicating that they were actually paying attention. In the schools, school boards selected and elected by the Teachers Union, were making decisions to further the Marxist movement in the classrooms and indoctrinate yet another generation of school kids to the world of "democratic socialism". That was the beginning of their current downfall.
The mama bears of the school children are beginning to understand what is happening to their cubs and are not going to put up with it. The pandemic cause most kids to work from home at least the last half of the 2019 school year. The mama bears were required to be there with the cubs and witnessed the crap the teachers were putting out about gender identity and racism. They challenged the curricula where these ideologies were being taught and brought to light what was going on. Then the libs continued their control tactics with never ending Covid mandates regardless of what scientists were saying. The crowning blow to the liberals came in a political campaign where the liberal candidate told all the parents that they didn't have anything to say about what was being taught to their children.
Well now, that was pretty much the end of that. More and more parents are throwing their hats into the ring for school board seats and taking back the control of their school districts as it should have been all along. Personally, I have always believed that a school board member should have a child in the district they serve before they can run for a seat. The problem we still face are the generations of school kids of the past 30 years or so that have been seriously indoctrinated toward socialism. They are not bad people, just mis-educated young adults that will run this Country in the future. Bottomline is the "progressive" folks of America are on the run right now to try to save their movement before the Constitutionalists retake the control and bring us back to what really makes America great again and again.
